The evening started with a few rounds of ice-breakers. Enchanteers(our honorary participants) broke the ice quickly and bonds were instantly formed. Next, we had 'Get down and dirty' where enchanteers had to prepare their own dinner. Groups were in charged of different cuisines. There was the Konbawaa-lah group, in charge of preparing sushi and rojak. Their sushi and rojak seemed like work of professionals. Not lacking back, we also had the Bruce and Lolita group who prepared scrumptious Bruschetta that had everyone salivating for them. Last but not least the Aloha Skew who wowed us with their tantalising and delightful looking BBQ skewers. Thinking about the mouth-watering fare I had makes me hungry again....
After dinner, we played exotic games. Ok…it should be games with exotic food. First we had Melt the candy game where participants had to guess the candy which they were given. We had melted the candy to an unrecognisable extent. The groups who lost were punished with ‘exquisite’ food such as duck brain; chicken hearts and gizzards. The taste buds of Enchanteers were further enhanced with the GUESS GUESS GUESS game. One group ate whilst the other two groups were to guess correctly who was the person eating the mystery food. Groups that guessed wrongly had to finish up mystery food such as belacan biscuit, one whole full cup of 100% lemon juice and wasabi oreo etc… The facial expressions of the Enchanteers tickled everyone. It was hilarious!
The highlight of the night was the AUCTION! Enchanteers were given ‘money’ to auction for their own prizes. One of our manly Enchanteers even bidded $25 for a cute little pink handbag. Eventually everyone got themselves a gift or two. The night ended with fun and laughter. Both Enchanteers and we enjoyed ourselves so much. It was truly a memorable and enjoyable night!

…a fortunate meeting
defined by fate and revealed by
destiny
an enchanting moment beyond the realm of reason
cunningly
disguised in direst circumstances
whose touch is visible only to poetic soulsit
chooses its own time and place
evermore pretentious of purpose
crossing its
hollowed path is futile
even frustrating to willing victims
coz it doesn’t bend
its will to ones desire
teasing a consoled mind
to go astray
that’s always a part of the plan
yet it likewise reassures us to
hold on
to believe in destiny
and to let fate guide us on our
journey
I am a willing victim to its wicked
ploy
battling confusion, doubt and pain with a fragile sword
hanging on to a
flicker of hope left inside me
coz I believe in my destiny
i believe in
you….
